Celtx will ask you to enter your industry, experience, team size, and other details when you sign up for the first time. The next step is to choose the type of project you want to open and upload an existing script. The workspace is clean and uncluttered with helpful tips to make your experience as easy as possible.

Celtx provides real-time collaboration, project command center, team permission settings, dedicated customer support, and training. You can exchange information to find collaborators and the Production tab allows you to access existing projects from other users. Everything is geared towards partnership.

The free version of the software includes all the above features. However, you can subscribe to the paid version for additional features. A scriptwriting package includes script, screen, and stage play formats. There is also an offline mode.

A Video Production plan includes a shot list, breakdown, as well as scheduling options. The Game Production plan includes interactive features. Each subscription supports up to 10 projects.

It can be overwhelming to learn the software. There are extensive guides that will help you get started. You will need a subscription plan if your business is large. The free version has enough features to support a small team of creatives.
