Carbon CD is a handy tool that can make backup copies of your music and data CDs. Carbon CD allows you to create perfect 1:1 copies and save your CDs directly to your computer. Carbon CD is similar to Clone CD in that it has a familiar interface. However, Carbon CD currently does not support DVD.
Carbon CD is quite functional and can be used for a variety of tasks. You can use it to create disc images from CDs, or to burn disc images to CDs to create clones or 1:1 copies of CDs. You can master CDs or disc images, rip audio CDs and erase CD-RW disks. You can also view information about the optical drive (CD reader/writer).

Carbon CD has a simple interface with many large buttons that can be used to perform various tasks. You can change the look of Carbon CD by using the interface sub-menu in the main settings menu.
Carbon CD does a good job overall. It is simple to use, lightweight and takes hardly any system resources. Carbon CD is a good choice if you need to clone audio CDs and data, create disc images, rip audio CDs and burn disc images. It does not support DVDs, which is the only problem we can see.
System requirements: Minimum 500MHz processor, minimum 64MB RAM, 5MB free disk space, and any Windows operating system from Windows XP through Windows 10.
