First-person shooter video game
Call of Duty is a first person shooter game set in World War II. Infinity Ward, the game's developers, created this game for Windows computers. You will play the role of four young soldiers in three interconnected campaigns. Although the plot of COD is primarily linear, you can jump to other war-torn nations to complete your preferred missions.
GameplayCall of Duty allows you to see the casualties of war through the eyes of four soldiers: one from Red Army, two from British Army and one from the United States Army. There are 27 missions for all four COD characters. The game begins in Russia. You will be a low-ranking private. You will be assigned tasks that range from mundane to life-threatening, such as reconnecting telephone wires or infiltrating Stalingrad City Hall. It is important to have two firearms. Other weapons that you find on the battlefield can be looted.
The second campaign is split into two parts. First, you will play as a Sergeant and then as a Tank Commander. To sneak attack the German Afrika Korps troops, you will need to crawl, crouch and scale different terrains as a Sergeant. Expect the Germans will be relentless. They will not have many firearms or other artillery, but they will engage hand-to-hand combat. You can defend yourself with smoke grenades and fragmentation weapons or you can go on the offensive by adding an Iron Sight or compass. The iron sight allows you to accurately shoot your enemies, while the compass provides 360-degree views of other players.
The final campaign, which is set on D-Day, will be the turning point in the game. You will play a corporal. Your mission is to destroy the German artillery batteries and defend it against the massive German counteroffensive. You will engage in both armed and physical combat. As in real life, severe damage can cause your senses to be impaired. The game will increase your heartbeat volume and blur the screen. You have no choice but to run, to allow your character to regain strength.

Challenging shooter gameCall of Duty can be difficult because you are playing low ranking soldiers and have no control over the war. To understand the storyline, it's best to stick to the main storyline. However, the game can still be understood if you skip between missions. Infinity Ward's developers have dispersed weapons and other resources so you can focus on your mission. Overall, the game mimics real-life combat and physical response packaged in a historically-accurate storyline.
