Calamity is a Terraria mod that adds a lot of new features to the game. When you install the mod, you will be able to experience new enemies, settings, player classes, and more.

Terraria players have fewer options for mods than Minecraft. Calamity mod adds a new dimension to your gameplay. This mod offers a wide range of additional features for Terraria players who have played the base game.

The Calamity mod adds five new biomes (environments to Terraria) to the mix. These include the Sunken Sea, where you can collect Sea Prisms to battle a Giant Clam and the Sulphurous Sea where you must avoid bubbles of acid; underground Abyss where you will need to dodge them; the Brimstone Crrag and its evil god; and the mysterious Astral Ignition. Each biome offers new structures and rare resource opportunities.

Calamity adds new enemies to the game, including bosses such as the Brimstone Elemental or the Devourer of Gods. There is also a new Rogue class, whose stealthy skills may help you to evade these new threats. The Proficiency system has been added to the game, giving you a new way of improving your character as you play. New songs and recipes are also available.

While Terraria fans may prefer to stick to the base game, it's impossible to deny the Calamity mod brings a wealth new material. It also boasts a community: there is a Discord server, wiki, and a forum where you can communicate with other Calamity users.
