Developers get a free productivity tool

Boost Note is a free open source markdown editor for developers. It allows you to create a shared workspace and invite others to work together. To keep work flowing, everyone can see the changes made in real time.

You can either create a new document within the app or import it from an external tool. Joplin and SharpDevelop are two options if you need more advanced tools.

Target user base

Boost Note is primarily designed for teams of developers who need to work together on a single document. Once you have created your team, you can create a workspace. This is where you can organize your work documents by creating folders.

What can you do to Boost Note?

Although it is called a lightweight app, it has many features. They are functional and not gimmicky, which is a plus. We'll be looking at some of them.

Co-authoring: Invite others to your workspace by sharing a URL, or sending an email invitation from within the app. You can quickly go back to an earlier version if you make any changes to your document. To add team members, you will need to pay for one of the two paid plans. Share documents externally: Sometimes, other parties may be contributing to a particular document in your project. Invite them to collaborate on a document. They only have access to the document and the tools they need. Importing and exporting documents: You can import documents from many external apps, including Evernote, Dropbox Paper and Google Docs. App integrations: Boost Note works with more than 2,000 third-party applications. You can automate certain processes between apps, making your workflow more efficient.
Plan options

There are currently three plans, one of which can be downloaded for free. The free version is limited in feature and storage capacity. While the Standard plan has more features and storage capacity, the Pro plan offers more. You get 10GB storage per member and priority support.

Extensive development tool

It is clear that Boost Note was designed with developers in the mind. It is great for quickly creating a note or a code snippet. We love the synchronization feature between devices.

Joplin is a good alternative to Boost Note, which is a note-taking app for developers.
