BatteryBar - A Free Download for Windows Vista

BatteryBar by Osiris Development has been around for a while, so this isn’t a new product. BatteryBar is a great option if your computer is often not plugged in. There is not much to learn other than the fact that BatteryBar provides a better battery monitor than Windows default.

It works quite well. First, install BatteryBar on your computer. Next, configure it according to what you prefer and click "dash". The screen will display your battery level, percentage remaining, charge remaining, and the time it took for your battery to fully charge.

As an alternative to the free Windows program, BatteryBarPro can be used. This program offers a number of useful functions, including battery status monitoring and PC speed and performance reporting, custom battery monitoring, battery alarm notification, system detection, device detection, and battery alarm notification. BatteryBar Pro is easy to use, and the advanced features are great for anyone who wants to monitor their PC's performance. Both programs are excellent but I prefer BatteryBar Pro because it has more features and was specifically designed for Windows users.
