A New World in The Artist's Forest

Everyone seems to be jumping on board the new Avatar: The Game (also known by Ubisoft’s Avatar: The World of Avatar for Wii) train. Electronic Arts' high-tech online role-playing game for multi-players, Avatar: The Game, is a high-tech and exciting online game that uses animation-based technology from The Artist's Forest. You'll be able to escape not only the Avatar Islands but also the dangerous pitfalls within. You'll have all the tools you need to solve puzzles or take on challenges. The action will never stop.

This game is a high-end product that has a lot of appeal to gamers who enjoy multi-level gaming online and offline. However, it also has something to offer Wii users who are looking for an engaging and memorable gaming experience. Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with Michael Abrash, senior producer and director of Avatar: The Game to discuss the future and how it has changed from console-based gaming to open-world "experiences." Abrash said that the idea behind the original Avatar: The Game was to offer gamers a choice between the two worlds. While the main focus will be on the epic adventure of traversing the vast world of Avatar; the possibility of experiencing the wild west gives us a glimpse of what gamers can expect in future.

Abrash was asked what makes The Artist's Forest stand out from other online multiplayer RPG's (MMORPG). He said that the world he is creating is very similar to The Artist's Forest's beginning. "There's a simple story, but we can link it to a lot more things. One of our goals is to allow players to create their own little corner in this vast world. For example, you might find a spot in a forest where you have been building the trees. You can start at the frontiers and go back to them. Then you can go on to the next tree, flower, fruit, or flower. The Artist's Forest looks like it could connect with many people who love to create their own frontiers in the virtual world.
