v 3.1.2|The aTunes Team
aTunes is an open-source audio player and manager that offers many features. It also includes ripping and encoding tools. Using aTunes, you can play many audio formats, organize your music collection and edit tags. You can also listen to online radio stations. aTunes can also rip music from CDs. This makes it an excellent alternative to iTunes, Amarok and Clementine.
It is easy to navigate through your songs by tag information, by folder, but you can also mark songs and albums as favourites to allow you to view them through a special view. Filters are also available in the program, which can be applied if you need to perform a faster file search.
aTunes can be used with MP3 and OGG files and can read ID3v1 and ID3v1.1 tags. The CD ripper tool uses lame, cdda2wav and oggenc.
System Requirements:aTunes requires a Java 6 virtual machine running version 1.6.0 or higher.
