Anti-Spam SMTP proxy is a spam filter that sits at port 25 (SMTP) and, if necessary, on 465 (SMTPS), and 587 (Submission) directly in front your regular SMTP servers. It will relay the SMTP dialogue between an incoming client to your SMTP server. It will intercept any dialog that is necessary. Anti-Spam SMTP proxy performs a variety of configurable checks. It will immediately provide a 5xx SMTP error message to the client upon detecting spam messages. Non-spam messages, as usual, are sent to the regular SMTP server for further processing.
