Angry IP scanner is a network scanner that's fast and easy to use. It scans IP addresses, ports, and is open-source and cross-platform.

Angry IP scanner can scan IP addresses from any range and any of their ports. It's lightweight and doesn’t require installation. It works by simply pinging each IP to verify that it is alive. If it is, it will resolve its host name, determine the MAC address, scan ports, and then it will return a list of all active IP addresses. Plugin support allows for an extension of the data gathered about each host.
