KastorSoft developed All Video Downloader, a desktop program. It is lightweight at 11.4 MB and can be used to search, watch, or download clips from over 280 video-sharing and streaming websites. This includes sites like YouTube, Dailymotion, 123video, or 123video. All Video Downloader allows you to start downloading by simply pasting the URL into the text bar, or selecting it from the built-in web browser. Although it doesn't specify which search engine it is using, it uses the HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (or HTTPS URL extension) to protect your browsing activities.

When Kastor- All Video downloader launches, you will be asked for a selection of Search, Watch, Download, or Direct Download From URL. A tick box will appear with the phrase "Don't show this screen during startup". They are there to allow the program to know which landing pages it will take you to, but they do not change the interface.

Usually, there are four panels once Kastor All Video downloader has opened. The largest panel displays either the videos that are relevant to your search, or the videos you are currently downloading. Below the panel is a rectangular box that gives more information about the video selected. If you search this video, the panel will show the title, duration, total views, and description. Once you are satisfied with your selection, click on download. Kastor will begin downloading the video in the original file format.

Kastor All Video downloader allows you to modify and change the way you download videos. There are 18 formats available for the output format, including MP4, WMV, MPEG and MP4. It can also optimize your video for different devices like the iPhone, iPad, and PS3. You can also modify the preset settings or the command line. Presets can be modified at any time by anyone. It simply changes the video's aspect ratio, size, and frame rate. Command line is best for those who have experience with coding.
