AdventNEON is a 2D addictive action-adventure game that focuses on control, responsiveness and vibrancy. You find yourself in an impossible situation. Your only escape is an experimental spaceship that has crashed landed on Earth. The Xenon, hostile creatures, greet you as soon as you land on the planet. You are attacked by the Xenon, but fortunately you have an experimental spaceship that can take you to safety. You can take control of your new life-saving machine called Advent NEON. This is where you will be able to unleash powerful blasts of energy called Ascorb by absorbing the alien energy called "Neural Energy".

You must find out what caused them to attack and then use a variety weapons against them. These include guns, missiles, guns, and even a powerful machine called Maverick. You can take on the enemy by yourself, controlling each character in AdventNEON using a series keyboard commands. This is a practical way to play the games than if you used the WASD/ROLE system. AdventNEON's difficulty is determined by how fast you respond to the attacks from the xenon. The keyboard controls include a counter that allows you to see how effective a move is. It increases with each successful move.

AdventNEON is a solid and easy-to-use experience. There are many useful tips in the game, such as how to use your dual swords efficiently and how to make the most of your jumps. The character designs are also very nice. The main characters Dora and Boots, who are Dora's friend, have cartoon-quality graphics that are easy to see. AdventNEON is a fast-paced combat game with an interesting storyline that I thoroughly enjoyed.
