How to burn a music cd

People who love music prefer having their own collection of songs. According to the mood, you sometimes are in the mood of hearing love ballads, hard rock or country songs. So burning a CD for your own collection is the most sensible thing to do. Just follow these few steps.

Step 1
If you are using Windows Media Player, you have to download it from the Internet and install it on your computer.
Step 2
Then click on the 'library', then on 'list', then on 'Burn list'.
Step 3
From the contents, click on the songs that you want to burn and drag them to the 'List' window. Make your selection of all the songs that you want to compile on the CD.
Step 4
Now you can move the songs from down to up or vice versa according to your choice that is once you have made the selection of all the songs that you want burned. Put them in the order that you want them to be in the CD.
Step 5
Now insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into the CD drive on your computer.
Step 6
Now do a check and see if the songs that you have selected will all fit on the blank CD. If they do not fit, you can remove songs from the list by just clicking on the 'Remove from the List' menu option that is available.
Step 7
Now click on the 'Start Burn.' Make sure to select the 'Audio CD' as the format for the CD that you want to burn. Remember that a 'Data CD' will not play in a CD player.
Step 8
If you are using iTunes, download it and install it using instructions given.
Step 9
First make a playlist, you will get a plus symbol, click on 'File' and create 'New Playlist'.
Step 10
Put the songs in the order that you want it to appear on the CD.

Get the settings right, click on 'Edit,' 'Preferences' and then 'Burning.' Use the highest speed that is available. If you find that the burned CD does not play properly, then burn it at a lower speed.
Step 12
Use the 'Audio CD' format; insert a blank CD into your computer's drive.
Step 13
Now choose the playlist that you created, click on the burn button, which is located in the right corner on the top portion of the window. Your CD will be ready within a couple of minutes.
