How to allow cookies

Enabling cookies in your computer is not difficult. Here are some steps to guide you. If you are an Internet Explorer 4 user, first move to menu option and then click on View. Go to the Internet Options and click on Advanced then select Security and click on Cookies. Then you have to accept all cookies.

Step 1
If your system is Internet Explorer 5, first select the menu item and go to Tools. Then move on to Internet Options followed by Security. Now select the Internet Logo and click Custom Level. Now move to the Cookies section and enable it.

For Internet Explorer 6 users, after going to the Internet Options (in the same way as in Internet Explorer 4 and 5), click on the Privacy tab. The slider should be set to 'Medium High,' 'Medium,' 'Low' or 'Accept all cookies.'

Netscape 4 users should go to the menu item and then select Edit then move on to Preferences and Advanced. Now they should click on Accept all cookies or only accept cookies.

For Netscape 6, 7 & Mozilla users, first the menu item should be selected. Then one should go on to Edit then select Preferences and Privacy and Security. Now one can click on Enable all cookies or Enable cookies.

The earlier Lynx versions do not allow enabling cookies unless the system is upgraded.

For AOL 8.0, select Settings from the AOL Toolbar, then select Preferences. Now click on and select Internet Properties (WWW), then select the Privacy tab and Advanced. Deselect override automatic cookie handling button. Click on OK to exit.

If you are using AOL 7.0 with IE 6.x, select Settings from the Toolbar. Select Preferences, Privacy tab and Advanced. Now deselect override automatic cookie handling button and click on OK to exit.

For enabling cookies in AOL 7.0 with IE 5.5, select settings from the Toolbar. Then select Preferences, Internet Properties (WWW), Security tab, Custom Level tab. Under 'Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer,' click 'Enable.' Under 'Allow per-session cookies' (which are not stored) click 'Enable.' Click on OK, as you want to save the settings.

For AOL 6.0, you need to select settings from the Toolbar. Select Preferences, Internet Properties (WWW), Security tab, Custom Level tab. Under 'Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer,' click 'Enable.' Under 'Allow per-session cookies' (which are not stored) click 'Enable.' Select OK since you need to save the settings.
